About this property

This rustic, semi-detached farmhouse lies in peaceful grounds within the hamlet of Llanbedr-y-Cennin, in the scenic Conwy Valley on the edge of the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Boasting a traditional décor, this heart-warming retreat welcomes families and friends looking to escape everyday life and see what North Wales has to offer. Enter into the lounge where a huge inglenook fireplace takes centre stage, housing an alluring woodburning stove which you curl up next to during the brisk winter months, plus a sofa and a Smart TV for entertainment. Move into the farmhouse style kitchen/diner, complete with feature stone wall and bespoke wooden structures, this is a lovely space to prepare your meals. As you being to yawn, whisk yourself off upstairs to the bedrooms, comprising of a bunk room and two doubles with high ceilings and exposed joists in the roofing, giving it a real sense of character. The bathroom offers a welcome change of modernity with sleek tiling and a bath with rainfall shower over, so you can prepare for the day in style. To the exterior of Pant Yr Iwrch is a landscaped and elevated garden, which was once massively overgrown, but now offers a lovely space with a structured seating area where views of the Eryri (Snowdonia) Mountain Range can be seen. There are some wonderful walks from the cottage and the North Wales coastline is just a short drive away, together with many biking trails and centres which are all within easy reach of the property. Just down the road lies Surf Snowdonia, the first artificial wave lagoon of its kind in Wales, while a little further afield in Betsw-y-Coed lies the popular slate caverns, housing the world-first underground trampoline park, along with Zip World Titan, which spans across 1080m from half the height of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), so there is really something for everyone in this location! Less than a 15 minute drive will bring you to Conwy, home to the famous Conwy Castle, a pretty harbour, as well as many fabulous shops and restaurants. For a quintessential day on the coast, visit the seaside town of Llandudno where you can stroll the length of the promenade, catch a Punch and Judy show, or enjoy a wealth of family attractions on the amusement pier. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape with plenty of activities on hand, look no further than Pant Yr Iwrch.

Llanbedr-y-Cennin is a little village resting in the county of Conwy on the edge of the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. The river Conwy runs through the valley, running into the sea to the north, at the town of Conwy, which is about five miles north of the village. The village rests at the eastern edge of the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and is thus the starting point for many walks and scenic cycles. There is a welcoming pub where you can refuel with some tasty grub. Nearby Conwy provides some excellent adventure with its historic Castle and range of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Cottage was absolutely stunning so we stayed in the whole time we was there. Beds were super comfy and it was lovely sitting next to the log burning fire. Everything we needed was there and Rich was very welcoming when we arrived. We would definitely go back.
