This beautiful, detached cottage, just a short distance away from the market town of Llanrwst, is the perfect place to have an indulgent and relaxing time away. Whether you want to take a leisurely stroll down into Llanrwst for lunch, or drive over to the nearby village of Betws-y-Coed, there are plenty of memorable places to visit. For the adventurous amongst you, the cottage is situated only a short drive from Adventure Parc Snowdonia, where you can take part in an array of activities, from rock climbing to aerial assault courses, and you can even try your hand at surfing. Alternatively, take a long walk over to either Llyn Geirionydd or Crafnant to admire the beautiful lakes.
After a day of exploring all the local area has to offer, come back to this characterful and lovingly finished cottage and enjoy some family time. Cook yourself a fresh meal in the modern open plan kitchen/dining room, where you can all sit comfortably and reminisce about the day’s activities. We had a really lovely stay at the cottage and would happily return. The setting is absolutely stunning — peaceful, scenic, and perfect for switching off. The views were beautiful in all weathers, and the log fire made the cottage incredibly cosy, especially in the colder conditions.The cottage itself was comfortable, well equipped, and clearly cared for. It worked brilliantly for our family, giving us space to relax, eat well, play games, and properly spend time together. We especially loved the quiet surroundings, forest walks nearby, and the sense of being tucked away from everything.Despite some challenging winter weather during our stay, the cottage remained warm and welcoming and quickly became a real home-from-home for us. Overall, it was excellent value for money and a place we made some very special memories. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others looking for a peaceful countryside break.

Second visit to Clawdd Gwyn. Super location to bring in the New Year. The house is very well equipped. A great walk over to the llyn from the doorstep. Mountains, Glens and valleys 10 minutes away. Communication from the owner was spot on.
