This holiday property is a splendid barn conversion and finished to a lovely standard. Perched high in the hills amidst winding lanes, Llanrhychwyn is a small hamlet close to Betws-y-Coed. Close by is the historic parish church of St Rhychwyn, claimed to be the oldest church in Wales, and the Gwydyr Forest Park provides plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling. The nearby lake of Llyn Geirionnydd is within walking distance. Betws-y-Coed, the gateway to Snowdonia, is about 4 miles away with its railway museum, shops and riverside walks, whilst for the more adventurous, the family-friendly treetop nets at Zip World Fforest is a must for thrill seekers. Conwy is less than 30 minutes away with its elegant 13th-century castle, NT Aberconwy House, marina and range of shops; it is also home to the smallest house in the UK. Llandudno, also 30 minutes away, has two beaches and boasts the Venue Cymru (theatre, arena and conference centre), which offers a range of touring productions. Visit Surf Snowdonia in the Conwy Valley, the UK’s first artificial surfing lake. Shop, pub and restaurant 11/2 miles.

Lovely cottage in remote location, spacious and had everything we needed. Within easy reach of Betws y Coed. Perfect base for exploring North Wales, Snowdon, Zipworld, Conwy, Llandudno and walks from the cottage around the local area.

lovely and peaceful location, exactly what we needed as a base for going round the rest of Snowdon. Very warm and had a fire pit too which was lovely to get back to after a hike
