Relax and recharge at this charming house in a peaceful setting on the Lliw River in Eryri/Snowdonia. It’s perfect for friends or family and your canine companions as it has a large, enclosed garden with a BBQ, a games room, and plenty of space to chill out and enjoy your surroundings. The house is near Bala town and lake, and there is lots of great mountain biking and walking nearby.
You’ll find traditional features, stylish interiors and creature comforts throughout the house, including in the gorgeous lounge, with its wooden floor and beams, a cosy wood burner and a Smart TV for evenings in, and French doors to the outside. Through the lounge is the lovely, light conservatory which overlooks the garden. The slate-floored kitchen/diner has everything you need to prepare tasty fare and enjoy memorable meals together, and there’s a utility/boot room for doing laundry and storing your outdoor gear, which also has a WC. For some fun, head to the covered games room for a table tennis or table football match. Head upstairs to bed in the three bedrooms with gorgeous views: a pretty double with great storage, a gorgeous king-size room, and a bunk room, along with the family bathroom. On warm evenings, fire up the BBQ, dine alfresco and soak up the views in the large riverside garden.
Pop into Bala (4.5 miles) to sample the cafes, pubs and shops, and head to Bala Lake to go swimming, walk its perimeter and have a go at canoeing, paddleboarding and boating. For thrill-seekers, head to the National White Water Centre for rafting, kayaking, canoeing and canyoning adventures. Take your bike to the mountain bike trail centre at Coed y Brenin (8 miles) to enjoy the trails and explore the beautiful mountains of Eryri/Snowdonia on foot or by bike.
