Brilliant stay, would recommend packing light as its up a lot of steps, and you will need to find somewhere to park your car, other than that well worth the money!

The location of this property is lovely. Some stunning views overlooking Barmouth and the harbour. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden in the warm autumn sunshine. However, I was deeply disappointed in the state we found this cottage in. It was very damp and cold with black mould in several rooms - not a healthy place to sleep in!There were cobwebs and dust everywhere. Dog hair was found in several rooms. The towels and bedsheets had stains on. I appreciate that this is a family owned cottage which is used for family holidays and what you as a family may find acceptable is not what is acceptable in the era of air bnb. I also thought it would have been nice if the heating had been turned on for when we had arrived as it was freezing cold. I would recommend to future guests to bring layers and slippers to wear if visiting during the autumn, winter and spring. I think it’s a lovely cottage but it needs a lot more care and thought put into it. Some nicer bedsheets and towels would be a start. Additionally, some money on making the bathroom nice to use - there was a crack in the base of the shower. Finally, I would never expect to pay to stay somewhere and there be black mould in every room. This was very disappointing. I have photos as evidence of the owners would like to see this.

This cottage has the most amazing views. However it is quite dated and cleanliness left a lot to be desired, which the owner agreed with !On that basis I would not stay again.
