Guests say

Guests appreciate the cottage's beautiful location, close to beaches and amenities, with an enclosed garden that is ideal for dogs. The property offers a cosy atmosphere and is considered a great base for exploring the surrounding area. While some guests noted areas for improvement, the overall experience is positive, with special mentions of a welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful touches.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of reviews suggest the cottage is clean and comfortable, though a few guests noted issues with cleanliness, such as dirty doors and windows, and dog mess in the garden upon arrival. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a consistent trend.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to local shops, beaches, and the tranquillity of the area. The convenience of public transport and the novelty of flagging down a train add to the charm of the cottage's setting.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, especially with the log burner. However, some guests mentioned that the main bedroom bed was too small and the steep stairs could pose a challenge, which suggests room for improvement in comfort for some visitors.

The cottage is well-equipped for a holiday stay, but several reviews mention the lack of a washing machine and the state of the living room floor. The addition of a small freezer has been noted positively, yet the maintenance of some facilities could be enhanced.

Many guests were delighted by the welcome basket, which added a personal touch to their stay. It is important to note that such gestures are appreciated but may not be a consistent offering for all future guests.

The cottage offers everything you need for a comfortable home from home stay and when the sun is shining lovely to sit out and watch the sun go down already booked for next year would definitely recommend.

Property could have been cleaner most things could do with a good wipe down and double mattress was very uncomfortable, my partner and I actually alternated nights in the bunk bed with our son to get a good night's sleep. Double mattress definitely needs replacing. Overall we were happy with our stay and enjoyed our time at the property.

The cottage was clean and with a good secure garden for dogs. Pleased to see a small freezer added plus carpet runner on stairs which are steep which needs to be noted for people with any form of mobility problems plus bathroom and bedroom a bit of a squeeze, this is a quaint old Welsh cottage so which is to be expected. There was a lovely welcome basket on a arrival. A spa shop and butchers within a five minute walk . Would recommend.
