Excellent property. Plenty of local facilities. Great parking. Dripping kitchen tap was annoying and main shower door sticks and doesn’t close properly.

We had a lovely stay at Yr Hen Fanc. It's perfectly positioned for touring around North Wales and has great local amenities with a nice pub a stone's throw away and a well stocked shop which is open late. It was very cool to stay in a converted bank and we really liked the fact that it had retained some of the original features in the entrance lobby.

This cottage provided an excellent base to explore Snowdonia national park. It had everything we needed for a week, everything was clean and we lived the traditional features in this unusual property. It is great that everything is on one level which helped with one of us who has restricted mobility. When we went was exceptionally hot, and this meant that there were a couple of nights that were difficult to get sleep. This was made trickier when the window in the bedroom is locked shut and cannot be opened, with the only air coming through the small windows in the bathroom. However the patio doors open wide so we were able to enjoy a refreshing breeze in the dining room in the evenings. We would recommend for anyone who wants to stay in the North Wales/ Snowdonia area.
