A cosy end-terraced bungalow nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac in Llan Ffestiniog, with superb country views from the sitting room. Ideal for a family break or a romantic getaway, this Llan Ffestiniog cottage is just a short walk from the village shop and pub, as well as stunning countryside making this a superb destination for a cottage holiday. This welcoming Llan Ffestiniog cottage has been decorated to a good standard and contains comfortable furnishings in its two bedrooms, as well in the sitting room, and the well-equipped kitchen with dining area has all the modern appliances that you need for your holiday.
Children will love playing on the PlayStation 2, whilst the adults can retire to the rear garden where they can relax with a good book and refreshing drink on the patio, or sunbathe on the lawn. With the North Wales coastline, Snowdonia National Park, and historic castles at Harlech and Caernarfon within easy reach, this is a lovely Llan Ffestiniog cottage from which to explore and appreciate the area.
The village of Llan Ffestiniog is situated near the centre of Snowdonia National Park. Three miles away is Blaenau Ffestiniog, which offers shops and pubs, plus there are many attractions close by, including Llechwedd Slate Cavern, the Ffestiniog Railway, as well as walking, cycling, sandy beaches and fishing.

However what transpired was completely different. There was a laundry basket (the large ones) full of dirty laundry which smelt musky and damp. Bed was not made. No linen or towels ready for us although owner said it would be. The cupboard with cleaning bits in did have towels which reeked of musky dampness and urine. There was fur, food and dirt on the floors. Stains on all four pillows on the bed which we swapped with ones in the cupboard. Mould in the fridge and freezer. The oven was disgusting, we bought new oven trays which we took home and did not even attempt to clean the oven. The shower floods because it was clogged up with hair which we unclogged ourselves after buying appliances suitable for this. Sanitary items in the bin in the toilet which we did not touch. Gate hard to open to collect keys. The listing is also incorrect there is no Sky and no PS2. There is Freesat and also X Box with a DVD player. Owner admitted to not booking the cleaner and then someone put a bin liner outside of the house with one toilet roll and a bed sheet, the bin liner reeked of cigarettes so we left this in the cupboard. Owner then wanted someone to come in (while our personal items were now unpacked and we had deep cleaned which he knew) and we declined which the owner used against us when we raised a complaint with Sykes as he said he tried to resolve the situation. I was not going to have someone who we did not know and had left a cigarette smelling bag to go and clean around our personal possessions. I am relieved we stuck by that decision. The only good thing was that we had a lovely time exploring Snowdonia and managed to spend the whole half day cleaning which we then were satisfied with our cleaning ability. I have recommended the owner to revise the listing and have a good deep clean of the property before anyone else stays. The owner did not respond or apologise but Sykes did resolve our complaint.

The villagers were very friendly and the village was central to plenty of places too explore. I would definitely stay again lovely home and village
