With its 16th century church, pleasant pub and picturesque riverside setting, it offers excellent walks and boasts a variety of wild flowers and many species of birds that flock to the area’s sheltered beaches and rock pools. Take a trip on the narrow gauge railway from the nearby beautiful sandy beach at Fairbourne, to the sweeping sand dunes at Barmouth. Discover the renowned towns of Tywyn, Dolgellau and Aberdovey, and visit the magnificent sights of medieval Harlech Castle and the Snowdonia National Park, all within a short drive.
