Guests say

Guests consistently praise the cottage for its cleanliness, stunning location, and homely comfort. The property boasts original features and is well-equipped for a self-catering stay. The host, Lis, is commended for her warm welcome and thoughtful touches, including homemade treats, though these are not guaranteed for every stay.

Reviewers frequently mention the exceptional cleanliness of the cottage, describing it as well-maintained and the cleanest holiday home some have ever stayed in.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, proximity to nature, and stunning views of mountains and a lake. It's also noted as a convenient base for exploring Snowdonia, Anglesey, and the Llyn Peninsula.

The cottage is repeatedly described as cosy, warm, and comfortable, with good beds and a homely feel. However, one review mentioned it was a bit small for four adults, which slightly affects the score.

Facilities are generally regarded as excellent, with the property being well-equipped for self-catering. The presence of books, DVDs, and games is appreciated, although one review suggested the dining setup was not ideal for larger groups.

Many guests mention the host's thoughtfulness, particularly the welcome with homemade cakes and local tips. However, it is politely noted that such personal touches, while common, are not guaranteed.

Furnished with everything you could possibly need and with such a homely feel what more could you want. In the heart of Snowdonia National Park wonderful scenery wraps itself around you in an embrace of everchanging beauty. The quiet of the surroundings is wonderful but, you are also in touching distance if you do want more with all the beautiful seaside resorts to be had in the region. There is only one downstairs bathroom but this was a small price to pay. We found it had the right mix of authenticity and comfort that made for a lovely break.
