It is close to the village of Penrhyndeudraeth and is midway between Beddgelert and Porthmadog on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. Formerly a greengrocer and stables, this traditional stone cottage, dating back to 1880 has been lovingly converted to provide a delightful holiday base. The sitting room with exposed beams at this cottage is warm and welcoming and benefits from a woodburning stove, which you can sit and relax in front of after an energetic day exploring one of the many nearby walking trails.
Step into the fitted kitchen and you will find all you need to rustle up some lovely home-cooked meals, and then sit and enjoy each other’s company into the evening. Stairs from the hall lead up to two stylish, well-appointed bedrooms, and there is also a family bathroom at this cottage. There is a small, rear sheltered patio, set against a rock face, and the front, the delightful sunny patio area is an ideal place to enjoy a refreshing drink whilst occasionally being able to catch the sound of the steam trains on the nearby line. Many happy hours can be spent at this pretty cottage, plus a short drive away are many beautiful sandy beaches and stunning coastal paths that lead to secluded coves, and your holiday isn't complete without exploring the wonderful Snowdonia National Park.

The large village of Penrhyndeudraeth offers shops, pubs, a fish and chip, Post Office and a railway station. Portmeirion is just two miles away, and the harbour town of Porthmadog is close by. To the north is the pretty village of Beddgelert and you can also explore the wonderful Snowdonia National Park.
