The furniture was comfortable and the rooms were well let. We really appreciated the hard flooring throughout as this meant there was less worry about our dog coming in with wet feet. The kitchen is well equipped and has all the tools and utensils that you need. The welcome pack was much appreciated. It was also really nice to have the use of the lockable bike shed as this meant that i could safely leave my bike at the cottage whilst we were out exploring in the car or on the train. The nearest station is about a 7 minute walk and was very convenient, there are also several public footpaths starting within 100 meters of the cottage so very convenient for dog walks. This is certainly a cottage that we will consider again if booking in the area.

Very accurate to pictures and description.

The tiny narrow galley kitchen was well equipped but in order to sit to eat at the table it had to be pulled away from the wall and into the small living space then pushed back again each time. We are an older couple and found this tedious to say the least .The cottage is advertised as appropriate accommodation for 4 adults and available space has definitely been maximised but when we were joined by our adult daughter midweek we all felt that had we gone with another couple we would have been struggling not to fall over each other . I do also wonder which of our adult friends would have been happy to climb up to a top bunk to sleep . The owners were most helpful when we needed an extension cable to plug in a radiator in the bunk bed room ,and they had thoughtfully left us tea coffee and Welsh scones on our arrival, all of which was much appreciated, In summary I would say this cottage is a very suitable base for couples, walkers and younger people spending days out exploring this lovely part of Wales tho less suited for older adults .
