Villa Durban offers a wonderful escape in the south of France. Set high on a hill within a secure gated domaine, this contemporary villa enjoys a prime location, perched above a road and just over 30km from the Mediterranean coastline.
The village of Durban-Corbières is just a two-minute drive away or some guests prefer to walk (there is no pavement until you reach the old village centre around 800m away). The village is home to a bakery, good-sized grocery shop, tennis court and a restaurant, all useful amenities to cater for your daily needs.
Venture slightly further to discover Narbonne (34km), a bustling southern town steeped in Roman history with its famous indoor market, pretty canalside walks and boat trips. The atmospheric fishing village of Bages (28km) is a real gem, perched above the Etang de Bages, where flamingos often gather in the shimmering shallows. Meanwhile, visit the unforgettable Réserve Africaine de Sigean (20km), an expansive wildlife park that promises a memorable day out for families.
Sunseekers will find no shortage of beautiful beaches and coastal adventures.
