Guests have consistently praised the cottage for its cleanliness, comfort, and convenient location. The property is well-regarded for its welcoming atmosphere and the thoughtful touches provided by the owners. It is described as an ideal base for exploring County Mayo and enjoying the local amenities in Foxford.

Reviewers are unanimous in their appreciation of the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as 'wonderfully clean' and 'very comfortable', indicating a high standard of hygiene and upkeep.

The location is praised for being close to Foxford and convenient for exploring County Mayo. However, one review mentions a slight incline which may not be ideal for everyone, slightly affecting the score.

Comfort is highlighted with mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. The property is seen as a 'home away from home', suggesting a very comfortable stay for guests.

Facilities are well-received, with a particular mention of the kitchen being great for cooking needs. The ability to bring pets is also appreciated, although no specific maintenance issues are mentioned.

While guests mention a warm welcome and thoughtful touches like home-made bread, there is not enough consistent information about gifts to score this category. It should be noted that such personal touches, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

Everything we needed was there and it was in a perfect location to get to where we wanted to go. Thank you so much we will be back. P.s it was both my daughters birthday and they picked your holiday home as the best place they have been so thank you.

Very convenient both to the town, for shops, and to Lough Cullin, which is one of our favourite lakes. Facilities were great, it was good to be able to bring our dog with us as well. Bed extremely comfortable and the sofa (with the dog's blanket and throw on it) was very comfortable for him as well! The Mayo lakes (Cullin and Conn are great. We know them well and it was good to be able to take our time exploring rather than a quick day trip from home... Would recommend this cottage; the road outside it was also a lovely place to walk in the evenings, and we met some very friendly people/dog walkers on the road up the hill. We'll be back.

Always a warm welcome to foxford when you arrive. The cottage is on a slight inclined road which isn't ideal for everyone, but a lovely location and great views of town and mountains. I would recommend it if you need to be near town off the main road.
