Spend a day in the welcoming town of Ballina, home to the ruins of Moyne Abbey, the 15th century Rosserk Friary and the impressive St Muredach's Cathedral, there's plenty of historic wonder here alongside hosting an annual festival with music, theatre, art, heritage and culture, it's well-worth exploring while in the area.
