We really enjoyed staying at 62 Esplanade. Only down side was that the double rooms that weren’t the master were small double beds and therefore on the small side for a couple sharing. Check in time of 5pm is very late and check out time is very early. We felt that we had a day less of our holiday because of this. These times are quite difficult to manage with young children and I hope the owners and Sykes review this. Sykes were particularly unhelpful when I asked if we could ask the owners if we could check in an hour earlier.

We felt the photos on Sykes slightly exaggerated the size of the house too, and were disappointed that no mention was made about the very close building works that were on-going, which were noisy during the day and partially blocked access to the house by road.

The only criticism I would have is the Wi-Fi was very poor, which is a shame when there’s a few of us trying to access it at the same time.
