This contemporary waterside residence offers stunning lake views and is ideally located within close proximity to the amenities of Lower Mill such as spa with heated indoor and outdoor pools, sports facilities and restaurant.
Plovers Nest is beautifully furnished and well equipped to accommodate up to 8 adults plus 2 children. The property covers 3 floors with large open plan and glass fronted living space and kitchen with a balcony on the first floor to take advantage of the waterfront views.
Located on a private 450-acre natural reserve, the gated and managed estate comprises of woodland and meadows crossed by three rivers and surrounded by serene lakes. Several lakes can be used for water activities including kayaking and paddleboarding. The Activity Hub which is located less than 10 minutes from the property will hire equipment for water sports and bikes.
The ArtSpa is less than a 5 minutes’ walk from the property and offers an indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool, eco pool, sauna, steam room and gym, shower and changing facilities. Spa treatments are bookable via the spa. There are tennis courts, football and rugby pitches, children’s play areas, nature trails and cycle tracks to explore. (All facilities are shared with other properties on-site).
Beyond your luxury retreat and within easy reach you will find many famous Cotswold villages and towns such as Cirencester, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway and Cheltenham and Bath. The Cotswold Water Park just along the lane also offers a host of activities including water skiing, cable skiing, archery, shooting, paintballing, golf, aerial adventure, angling, horse riding, sailing, canoeing and rally driving. Cycle tracks, nature trails and fishing are all available locally. There are several pubs/restaurants within easy driving distance and one pub serving food just 1 mile away.

Beautiful well appointed house. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and good attention to detail throughout the house. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor and they remained relatively cool despite the record daytime temperatures. We couldn't fault the facilities provided in the house.The only negative is that the house is in a terrace and although we heard nothing through the walls, when we had the patio doors open we could clearly hear our neighbours and barbecue and cigarette smells drifted in. Also note that very little sunshine reaches the balconies until close to sunset.The onsite facilities are good. The pools are clean and a comfortable temperature. The children loved playing on the tennis courts. The pizzas cooked on site are superb, although the system for ordering them could be improved, as we had to wait over 30 minutes in the queue for the bar to place an order, while the staff struggled to fulfill the drinks orders.
