Historic Swarkestone Bridge and Trents water sports area, an historic canal and local pubs are an easy walk. Calke Abbey and Derby with its theatres, clubs, restaurants and good shopping under 15 minutes’ drive. American Adventure 12 miles. Ashbourne and Dovedale are 14 miles, Matlock Bath, 20 miles and Alton Towers just 22 miles. Shops 2 miles, pub 3/4 mile.
