Guests say

The Limes is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its spaciousness, warmth, and suitability for family gatherings. Guests enjoyed the games room and found the property well-equipped for their needs. The hosts are commended for their welcoming nature and responsiveness to issues. The property's location is appreciated for its quietness and proximity to local attractions.

Most guests found The Limes to be well-maintained, though one review mentioned the need for a deep clean in some rooms, citing mould, cobwebs, and dust. This suggests that while generally clean, there is room for improvement in certain areas.

The location of The Limes is described as good, quiet, and ideal for accessing tourist spots. The proximity to a pub and scenic places adds to its appeal, making it a favourable base for exploring the area.

Guests consistently report that The Limes is comfortable, with spacious rooms and a warm atmosphere. The property is well-suited for large family stays, offering enough living space and bedrooms to accommodate everyone comfortably.

The facilities at The Limes, including a games room, are a hit with guests of all ages. However, some minor issues with equipment shortages and a bathroom lock were reported, indicating that while the facilities are generally good, there is some need for attention to detail.

While guests have praised the hosts for their welcoming nature and responsiveness, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Lovely house—booked again! Was expecting the odd basic in the kitchen (a tea bag or two, for example) but very minor niggle, given how comfortable and warm we were.

We had a fabulous family holiday at The Limes. It is spacious, warm, and comfortable. The games room was a hit with youngsters and older members of the family. The hosts are lovely and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend it.
