The Farm House at Wildersley Farm is frequently described as a stunning and luxurious property with a high standard of interior design and cleanliness. Guests appreciate the peaceful location, the convenience to local attractions, and the thoughtful touches like robes and slippers. The spaciousness and the quality of the facilities, including a high-end hot tub, are also praised. Some guests mention challenges with the access road and suggest improvements in garden maintenance and additional amenities like fridges.
Reviews consistently mention that the property is spotlessly clean, with several guests highlighting the cleanliness as a standout feature. However, a few comments about the need for tidying up the garden and ensuring kitchen items are properly washed suggest minor room for improvement.
The property's location is praised for its convenience to shops, restaurants, and local attractions, as well as its quiet and peaceful setting. However, multiple reviews cite the poor condition of the access road, which affects the score negatively.
Guests find the property comfortable, with spacious rooms and a layout that accommodates large groups well. The presence of multiple bathrooms and a large kitchen/dining area contribute to the comfort. Some guests suggest the need for additional amenities like wardrobes and hand towels.
The facilities are generally well-received, with the hot tub and kitchen being particular highlights. However, guests have reported issues such as a non-working wine fridge, shower problems, and a need for additional fridges, which indicates that some maintenance is required.
While guests mention thoughtful touches like dressing gowns, slippers, and welcome gifts, there is not enough consistent detail across the reviews to accurately score the category. It should be noted that while such gifts are appreciated, they are not guaranteed with every stay.

It was warm, comfortable and well presented, offering all we needed for our weeks stay. Perfect location for country walks on the doorstep. The host was helpful and very responsive. We would certainly consider returning and have already been recommending Wildersley Farm to others.

We look each year for a house with plenty of bathrooms and a big kitchen/dining area where we can all sit, cook and eat sociably. This house ticked all those boxes. The kitchen could do with a few more mugs and glasses and some hand towels and more tea towels. Even though there is a bar area with a very small fridge, a second fridge, possibly in the utility room would be very useful. Bluetooth speakers in the kitchen would be good. None of the hand basins had any kind of soap so some liquid hand wash at every basin/sink would be a very welcome addition. The outside space is lovely and so quiet despite being walking distance from Belper town centre. The weather was very kind to us and we did a lot of walking.

The property definitely has the wow factor. It is beautifully presented and very clean. It is very spacious and the bedrooms are comfortable. There were plenty of lovely small touches such as robes, slippers, toiletries and towels for showering and for the hot tub. The kitchen area is huge and there are plenty of utensils. The outdoor area is lovely but does need a bit of TLC. The cushions on the garden furniture are a bit tired and also the ones for the firepit area need replacing. It was a bonus having a hot tub which was very clean. Another lovely touch was a basket of blankets and hot water bottles outside. The owners have thought of lots of special little things to make your visit more comfortable. The dirt track on the way to the house is a bit challenging but do-able. There is an Aldi and Morrisons a short drive away. We had a fantastic time and would not hesitate to book again.
