The market town of Ashbourne is within 8 miles and with its narrow, cobbled alleys, it is somewhat of a haven for antique hunters, boasting superb shops, as well as a variety of good pubs and restaurants. Sudbury Hall and the Museum of Childhood are within 5 miles and offer a fascinating insight into days gone by. Carsington Water is within 15 miles and Alton Towers is just 6 miles away, making this a wonderful location for relaxation and enjoyment throughout the year. Step into the hallway, hang your coats, and wander through to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which offers delightful countryside views through the patio doors that lead out onto the garden. Relax on the comfy sofas in front of the Smart TV or come together around the nearby dining table and plan the day s activities ahead. The kitchen offers everything you need to rustle up a meal to enjoy including an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and washing machine. There is a handy downstairs WC on the ground floor. Heading upstairs, you will find the bright and airy bedrooms with pretty matching bedroom furniture. There is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. Outside offers idyllic views of the sprawling countryside from both the rear garden and the patio area with ample seating. Parking on drive for two cars. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 king size, 1 king size zip and link (which can be made into a 2ft 6" twin upon request), and 1 single. 2 bathrooms 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC, 1 en suite shower room, and 1 separate WC. Electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine. Smart TV in the lounge. Enclosed garden with patio and seating, a gate has now been added between the garage and house to enclose the garden. Parking on drive for 2 cars. Shop within 3 miles and pub within 1 mile. Dogs are very welcome but not allowed upstairs. Please advise if you wish to hire a hot tub during your stay so we can provide the hot tub hire company details payment to them directly. Please note there is also a 50.00 payment direct to the owners towards electricity.
