Daisy Chain Cottage is a well-regarded holiday rental with guests praising its cleanliness, cosy comfort, and the warm welcome provided by the hosts, Bev and Brian. The cottage boasts a beautiful garden and is well-situated for exploring the Peak District. Some guests mentioned traffic noise and the proximity to a main road, but many found the cottage to be a peaceful and delightful retreat.
The cottage consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting its spotless condition and the effort put into maintaining a clean environment.
The location is appreciated for its convenience to local attractions and the beauty of the surrounding area. However, some guests noted the proximity to a busy road and associated noise, which slightly impacted the overall experience.
Guests find the cottage to be comfortable and cosy, with special mentions of comfy beds and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The presence of traffic noise was a concern for some, but did not detract significantly from the comfort of the stay for most guests.
The cottage is described as well-equipped and beautifully furnished, with all necessary amenities provided. Some guests mentioned the lack of a dishwasher and the challenge of low settees, but overall, the facilities were well-received.
The hosts are noted for their hospitality and thoughtful touches, such as birthday banners and providing tea and milk upon arrival. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is politely noted that such personal touches, while common, are not guaranteed with every stay.
