Nearby Saxilby hosts all the amenities you need for a self-catered stay, including pubs, cafe’s, supermarket and Post Office, as well as a railway station providing good links to Lincoln, the next stop along the line, so ideal if planning a day sight- seeing without the constraints of car parking. Lincoln is a magical city, both modern and vibrant but also, incredibly historic, with its imposing Cathedral on the hill which towers over the medieval quarter and its Castle housing an original copy of the Magna Carta, walled walks and museums.
