Peaceful sojourn with dog while awaiting rental to come through. Ideal to think and work. Damon the host met me and was very attentive but not intrusive. Good base from which to explore nearby historic villages and pubs. Would go again or recommend to visiting relatives.

We enjoyed our stay at the interesting and quirky Green Shutters and were very comfortable. The village pub served excellent food, as did the pub at Coleby. We parked in the garage one night but then decided on the lay-by instead as it was much easier and really quite close to the cottage. The host was very helpful and responded promptly to any texts. It was interesting to visit Belton House and also to spend a day exploring Lincoln. The countryside is lovely with many pretty villages, and we may well return to see a bit more of the area in the future.
