Lodge 4 is a wonderfully presented lodge tucked away on the popular Thorpe Park site in South Hykeham, Lincolnshire. For a wider selection of amenities, North Hykeham rests nearby, where you will find the popular pubs of Fox & Hounds, The Centurion, and The Lincoln Green Pub and Kitchen, Glebe Park, the Millenium Lakes and Activities Away where you can take part in outdoor watersports. In general, it was clean and well looked after. Previous reviews had mentioned that the kitchen was a bit worn, but for us, only the fridge was looking a bit tired. The seating, appliances, and electrical items were all fine and in good condition. One minor grumble was the absence of any sort of welcome book with details of how to use everything â¦. The underfloor heating (superb) had at least 4 different timer/thermostats that Stephen Hawking would have had difficulty with, as there were no instructions . On arrival, we were disappointed to be told that the hot tub had an electrical faultâ¦..however this was remedied rapidly so that we could use it. The grounds were well kept and tidy, and it was lovely a peaceful in the area. Lincoln was only 6 miles awayâ¦..but be warnedâ¦2 of the main routes into the city had just commenced road works expected to be long lasting (Mid April 24) and it took 50 minutes to cover those miles ! Not the fault of the property though !

When we arrived we had a question for maintenance and the came very quickly as they are on site. The staff were just lovely and helpful! There were great instructions available for everything including the hot tub which was delightful. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was an ideal size for two adults and a child. I would recommend this for any group size up to 4 and my young nephew loved the space.
