The property is a substantial stone-built cottage which still retains some lovely original features with a mix of modern appliances. Through the entrance you’re led into the very cosy living and dining room, which is complete with a wonderful wood burner adding extra charm and additional heat, with perfectly placed comfortable sofas and a Smart TV, making this a great place to snuggle up or socialise. The modern kitchen features all the usual mod cons and is fully equipped for all your culinary needs should you wish to have a home-cooked meal. Both bedrooms are spread across the first floor, with fresh bed linen guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep, leaving you fully energised for the next day’s adventure. In addition, the master bedroom presents en-suite facilities, or there is the option of a soak in the tub on the ground floor family bathroom. Doors leading from the kitchen bring you onto the enclosed private patio area with a lawn, great for having a glass of fizz alfresco style or taking in the morning air with a coffee. The views surrounding the cottage are breathtaking so make sure you make time to spend in the delightful garden.
For the more energetic guests, there are plenty of scenic walks and cycle routes throughout the area, some even straight from your doorstep! So make sure you pack your walking boots and bikes. Holbeach is the closest town and can be found within 2 miles. This has various independent pubs, restaurants and cafes for you to choose from and enjoy. A little further afield is the market town of Spalding which is worth the 20-minute drive for a day out. There is so much to do and see from Huntspill Cottage, so why not book a few extra days?

Huntspill cottage was in a lovely tranquil setting with some amazing views of the fields and country side, as previous reviews has stated the propity inside needs a little TLC with paint flaking off walls ect but that doesnt detire you from having a lovely stay/break away. All in all we had a lovley break.

The cottage was comfortable and clean. However, as earlier reviews suggest, it needs some TLC in regards to the walls with paint peeling off in most rooms and also, the shower, which leaked through to the downstairs. It was a shame as it was a nice cottage in a pleasant and peaceful setting.

We had a great stay at Huntspill which was very comfortable and ideal for exploring south Lincolnshire.Some small improvements could be made by adding extra cutlery and utensils, there are more TV's than sets of cutlery and no fish slice, grater or measuring jug. And a lick of paint here and there.This didn't distract from our stay and we had a lovely break.
