Sharon the owner was so helpful before arriving with providing details regarding the lodge which was so helpful. The lodge is located on a lake in a relaxing private setting. The grounds are kept perfectly and the fish in the lake are huge. The lodge was so welcoming, it was clean and inviting there was nothing not thought of with the kitchen having plenty of table wear and glasses and even having an airfyer. The rooms are spacious and comfortable we had young children with us and we were provided with a travel cot. We enjoyed evenings on the hot tub which was hot and clean and surrounded by lovely views. The lodge is located close to a local shop and around 15 mins away from Cleethorpes which has a steam train. We visited a local pub called The Livesey Arms for Sunday lunch which was lovely and around 5 minutes drive from the lodge. I would recommend this lodge and we will definitely be returning. We definitely had a memorable weekend.

Location is truly stunning, with private landscaped grounds and lake, a great place to chill out and relax. Plenty to do for the more active - seaside is close by - Cleethorpes around 20 minutes, Mablethorpe 40 minutes and the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds on the doorstep with walks and cycle routes aplenty. Plenty of pubs, nice restaurants and shops within a short drive. The lodge is modern, spacious and immaculately clean, with all modern facilities and good Wi-Fi. Loved sitting in the hot tub watching the sun go down over the countryside with a glass of wine and walking around the lake and island with the dogs and kids, watching the fish jumping. All in all a beautiful location and lodge - will definitely be booking for 2025.
