We had such a wonderful stay at The Woodshed in Congerstone and would absolutely love to return. From the moment we arrived, it felt like everything had been so thoughtfully designed to make our stay comfortable, relaxing, and special.The property strikes the perfect balance between cosy and modern. The fire created such a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for unwinding as a family while the underfloor heating kept everything consistently comfortable throughout. We especially appreciated the modern touches, like the well-placed switches and great entertainment setup, which made everything feel effortless and up to date.There were so many lovely little details that really stood out. The welcome basket was a fantastic touch and made us feel instantly at home, and the kitchen was incredibly well equipped with high-quality utensils, everything had truly been thought of, which made cooking and spending time together even more enjoyable.If we had to mention a couple of small downsides, it would be the fire alarms in the bedrooms, which have a constant green light that stays on throughout the night; it was quite bright and did light up the rooms more than we would have liked when trying to sleep. Additionally, the hot tub area could benefit from better lighting, as it was quite dark in the evenings and a bit tricky to fully enjoy after sunset.That said, these were only minor points and didn’t take away from what was otherwise an exceptional stay. The Woodshed is a beautiful, well designed place that we would happily recommend to anyone looking for a cosy getaway with all the modern comforts

Wonderful, relaxing remote barn conversion, surrounded by serene countryside views. Excellent accommodation for 6 people with plenty of room for all and a totally secure garden for dogs. Hot tub and slippers provided, with views across open fields. Owner very responsive. Good food at local pub, plenty of farm shops and an ice cream parlour well worth a visit!

Excellent location - lovely views and walks, with a good pub a short walk away. The accommodation was perfectly thought out, with everything you need. Clean, welcoming and cosy. Tim was a fabulous host. It was perfect place for a friends catch up (we loved the hot tub and that the beds could be split into singles if requested) but would be perfect for families too. Can’t wait to arrange our next one here.
