This is such a lovely accomodation for a holiday on the special Mersea Island. ! Gill and Paul are such thoughtful, kind people who have created a very well thought out space. Beautifully and lovingly decorated and very comfotable. Great outdoor spaces on both the terrace and back patio and a stome's throw from the lovely beach and a shop and diner. We had the most relaxing 5 nights here with our little boy and definitely hope to return! Thanks for a lovely stay Paul and Gill. **

We had a fantastic stay at Secret Seaview. It was ideally located, well designed and well maintained.Despite being a small property, there are thoughtful additions like extra plug sockets, a full length mirror and an excellent hairdryer. We also enjoyed having outdoor space in the form of a balcony and a patio - both overlooked by a 400 year old oak tree.Hosts Gill & Paul were lovely and had lots of local knowledge.Thoroughly recommended.

We enjoyed a lovely few days on Mersea Island and felt very welcome and comfortable at Secret Sea View. The views from the balcony were amazing, and we spent many relaxing hours there reading, eating and enjoying a drink. Our hosts, Gill and Paul, were very friendly and welcoming. There was plenty to see and do in the local area, and we hope to return again in the future.
