While you are in Keswick, find the time to explore the shops, stock up on local produce or sit down to a meal in a pub or restaurant. You may also wish to book tickets to a show at the Theatre by the Lake. Pull on your walking boots and tackle the 10-mile waymarked path that runs right round Derwentwater.
