Great holiday, very good accommodation, very clean and well equipped, close to everything. Just one problem, on leaving the property, the key box refused to open. Ok on arrival but spent 15 minutes on leaving trying to open it. Eventually had to leave the key in the black cover of the key box. Frustrating!Otherwise all great.

Nice cottage with comfy beds; big must for me. Kitchen well equipped. Shops and supermarkets nearby.Well situated for visiting The Lakes and coast. We did both and had a lovely week.Archway is narrow so if you have a large car you may struggle to get through. Ours is a Qashqi Tekna and we got trough OK though you need to approach from the opposite side of the road.

We had a wonderful break and were well placed for exploring some amazing parts of the lakes including buttermere, catbells, Keswick and Windermere. Local park was a short stroll away. Good options for food and drink although we cooked in the very well equipped kitchen at the cottage. Just a two minute walk and you are on the high street with a mix of independent shops. We absolutely love our stay and thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful property for our holiday! I think the highlight of the property was the collection of games provided, we always play games in an evening on holiday and completely forgot to pack them so it meant we could still have that family time.We will definitely be back in the future
