Guests say

Dovestones is a well-received cottage in Keswick, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, luxurious touches, and the property's proximity to local attractions. While parking can be challenging, the cosy atmosphere and thoughtful amenities contribute to a delightful stay.

Guests consistently note the property's immaculate condition and the high quality of the linen and towels provided. One mention of a dog odour on the sofa suggests a slight deduction, but overall, the cleanliness is highly rated.

The cottage's location is frequently highlighted as a positive feature, being within walking distance to Keswick's centre and local parks. The quiet neighbourhood is also appreciated, although parking difficulties lead to a slightly lower score.

Reviewers find the beds extremely comfortable and the house cosy, with a well-stocked kitchen for holiday cooking. A few comments about a second toilet and the height of the shower may affect the comfort for some guests.

The property is well-equipped with a mention of a luxurious kitchen and spa-like towels. However, some maintenance issues like a loose curtain rail, a problematic garage door lock, and a peeling frying pan suggest room for improvement.

While guests appreciate the overall thoughtfulness in the property's presentation and amenities, there are no specific mentions of gifts. Therefore, it is not possible to score this category accurately.

Very comfortable with everything you need. Would definitely book again. Only very minor grumble was a couple of the downstairs radiators didn’t seem to fully heat up so it did take a while to warm the siting room. Other than that we had a perfect stay.

It was about a ten minute walk into the centre of Keswick. Street parking was busy but we always found a spot fairly close to the house.

Beds comfy. Lovely decor. Kitchen well stocked for holiday cooking. Parking no problem in the main we were able to park outside or nearby. Would definitely recommend this house to others.
