Swinside is a traditional terraced Lakeland cottage located in the centre of the picturesque town of Keswick. Step inside and find one spacious bedroom with a king size bed and single bed with an additional single pull out bed beneath.Bathroom with shower over bath, basin and WC.There is a sitting room with dining area and kitchen. Swinside is a delightful property well equipped and furnished to a high standard. Suitable for couples or a family of three. Energetic guests may like to try conquering Latrigg, Skiddaw or Catbells. The jaws of the Borrowdale Valley are easily accessed on foot from Swinside Cottage. Others can enjoy a walk to the nearby Fitz park or the local pubs. A very welcoming property ideal for a couple or family to enjoy all the amenities which are within easy reach of the property.
The bustling market town of Keswick, a walkers paradise surrounded by stunning and spectacular scenery. The lower slopes of Skiddaw, Latrigg and the jaws of Borrowdale Valley are all within walking distance. Other beauty spots include Whinlatter Forest, Ashness Bridge, Surprise View and of course the shores of Derwentwater offering a wide variety of activities including boat hire and cruises. For the less active there are numerous shops, pubs, restaurants, museums and parks and of course The Theatre by the Lake. There really is something here for everyone.

It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The cottage was warm and cosy and so near to the centre of Keswick whilst still being in a very quiet street. My husband and I were really happy with it and would definitely come back.

Everything we needed inside and close to town. Parking easy enough on nearby streeta or Skiddaw Street car park within a short walk.

Met our expectations. Helpful information and reading materials. Comfortable furnishings with nice touches. What would make the experience better: Shower screen leaking so bathroom floor often wet. May be the cause of squeeky bathroom floor. Would benefit from another wine glass as only one available.
