Pitcairn Cottage in Keswick is praised for its cosy atmosphere, comfortable beds, and central location, offering easy access to local amenities and walks. While parking can be challenging, the cottage's charm and proximity to the town centre make it a popular choice for both small families and couples.
Guests have described the cottage as clean and tidy, indicating high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.
The location is highly regarded due to its proximity to the town centre and local attractions, despite some concerns about parking availability.
The cottage is consistently noted for its comfortable beds and cosy living area, although there is a suggestion that space might be tight for four adults.
Facilities such as a well-equipped kitchen and entertainment options are appreciated, but some guests have noted that the bathroom could benefit from an update.
While guests have left positive comments about the amenities and a mention of an unopened wine bottle left behind, there is no consistent reference to thoughtful gestures or gifts provided by the hosts, so a score cannot be given.

Lovely cottage well equipped. Location less than 5 mins walk to centre of Keswick. Be aware parking massive issue, no allocated parking as on confirmation from cottages.com. States plenty of off street parking or along side of cottage. Wrong!! Work vans and any car can park outside the cottage and Main Street is always full until late at night. Seen plenty of cars getting tickets, just be aware of booking this cottage you may need to park away from it. The cottage is adjoined to the neighbouring 7 bed house so you can hear noise in the sitting room, didn’t bother us. Bathroom definitely needs updating mould on walls and cracked bath front, perfectly useable though. Wouldn’t stay again due to the parking issue but if you get a good price on the cottage perfect place to stay, very cosy!

A great cottage and location. Would be tight with four adults but fine with one adult and two children. Upstairs bedroom very cosy. Freezer was a bit iced up and a roasting pan or something similar would have been appreciated for the two roasts I cooked. Fortunately I brought some aluminimum ones of my own. I realised late I left an unopened wine bottle so I hope the finder enjoys it!
