It has a very well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture and very good facilities including TV. Really nice bathroom and great to have robes and slippers provided. The outside space is good, although the pay-off of having such a high level of privacy is the lack of a view (due to the high walls). We found it to be a sun-trap (indeed, a parasol or other shade would be welcome) and the hot tub is fantastic. It's in a great location, a short drive to the lovely village of Haverigg and a mile and a half's walk across the fields to Silecroft Beach. Overall we're really happy with our stay and the owners were available without being at all intrusive.

The private driveway makes parking pleasant with easy access to the cottage. The cottage looks as beautiful inside as it does on the outside. Beautifully decorated with homely touches throughout the cottage. Very clean and spacious. A well equipped kitchen with everything you need. We were welcomed with a hamper with all the essentials (milk butter eggs bread and delicious homemade brownies- best Iâve ever had!). The owners were kind and very helpful. Our favourite features was the log burner which was perfect for rainy days/ cosy nights in and the bathroom was lush with a stunning roller top bath. Couldnât fault a thing. Would love to come back.
