Close by, the bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside are popular with visitors, providing a range of amenities to suit all tastes. Lake Windermere offers boat trips, including the lakeside ferry to the Lakeside Aquarium and Grizedale Forest Park. The accommodation was just so well planned and presented .Downstairs just worked with it’s spacious layout and outstanding kitchen dining area for our family and 2 dogs, always warm thanks to the Rayburn stove which was brilliant to cook on too and underfloor heating. The added bonus too was the fact all three couples had their own bathroom/ en-suites however the only downside was the bed in the double room and the zip bed in room 2,both mattresses really do replacing as support has completely gone. Outside had the bonus of ample private parking for several cars and a pleasant sitting area and garden with stream / beck .The Location is just perfect for exploring most of the lakes as all routes very easily accessed.
