A unique superb detached single-storey cottage, with a private hot tub available up until 10pm, excellent facilities and spectacular views over the surrounding fells down to Coniston Water. This property is not suitable for hen/stag or party groups. This excellent cottage near Coniston is perfect for enjoying the Lakeland fells in quiet and serene surroundings. This Coniston cottage is ideal for restful family gatherings, with the bedrooms split up to give three sleeping areas. The farmhouse-style kitchen has a range cooker, whilst the sitting room has a woodburning stove and soft comfortable sofas that everyone in the group can relax on after a hard day out on the fells.
The bright and sunny dining room seats 14, with two comfy chairs by the fireside and breathtaking views across the fields where the local sheep graze, down to Coniston Water. This Coniston cottage has six bedrooms, five with superb en-suite facilities, with the master king-size double bedroom benefiting from superb lake views. The private hot tub on the patio is ideal for sinking into at the end of a long, bracing walk in this tranquil and beautiful area. For water sports enthusiasts the quiet lake is ideal for dinghy sailing and canoeing, whilst the less active can enjoy a leisure cruise on the beautiful steam yacht 'Gondola'.

It was comfortable and well equipped for a party of 14. The only downside was the capacity of the ovens which are quite small when catering for a large party. The Aga was out of use which would have given us more cooking space. That said we managed ok as we had mostly prepared. It was great to have lots of parking and the location was beautiful and within easy access of everything we wanted to do. We really enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely go back. Thank you

One minor gripe was that the bike store was not really a drying room as we've known them. It wasn't really a problem though as there was a good tumble dryer to dry out damp clothes (we had a very wet week!). Also, it was a bit crowded in the vestibule for a group kitting up for a day on the hills. By putting a few old chairs in the bike store this would solve the problem. The hot tub was excellent.
