Witherslack is a small settlement nestled behind Whitbarrow Scar, a beautiful location that stretches south from the shores of Lake. Windermere, containing fell, woodland, river, and valley bottom. Traditional stone houses, cottages, and barn conversions are clustered around a natural reserve that provides lovely walking trails in an area of pristine countryside with diverse flora and animals. If you're looking for an authentic "Lakeland" experience, Lindale and the nearby towns of Cartmel and Arnside and Grange-over-Sands are both worth a visit, as are the coastal resorts of Arnside and Grange. From this charming village, visitors can easily access Lake Windermere, Bowness-on-Windermere, and Hawkshead, all of which are within easy driving distance.

Please Note: This property may be unsuitable for people who have difficulty climbing stairs.There is a small flight of stairs from the kitchen/diner to the lounge, a main staircase up to the first floor, and small flights of stairs between bedrooms and the bathroom.The single bedroom is also spilt level with a small set of stairs.The garden is at first floor level and there are stone steps leading to the garden from the driveway.The property also features several low beams.Therefore, please take care and mind your head when using the stairs.

I have come home and recommended to friends and family who may vacate in this area in the future. I have never been to such a clean and well appointed property and made the stay all the better. The beds were really comfy and the shower was great, lovely and hot after a cold walk across the fields and around the lakes.

Very clean and lovely enclosed garden great for our dog. Some good walks nearby. We visited kendal and Arnside beach which was nice. Went on the steam train and hired a boat at Bowness all in all a great stay with some warm weather which was a bonus. Would highly recommend staying here good communication from owners. Would definitely stay again.
