We are a family of 4 with an 8 and 10 year old. The house is walking distance from the town centre. It was warm and clean with all cooking/bedding equipment required. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with open fields and Kendal Castle a short walk up the lane. Would highly recommend the stay if you want to explore Windermere and the surrounding towns and walks.

A beautifully decorated, very comfortable house. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Some people may not like the bathroom pn the top floor but it didn't bother us. The toilet in the outhouse is fine for downstairs .Great location near the town centre. The only issue could be parking. We were informed that there was parking on the opposite side of the street to the house. This is no longer true. The whole street is residents permits or an hours stay. The details need updating. Luckily we found somewhere in the next street. We were wondering if a parking permit could be provided at the property? Afterall you're a resident while staying there.
