An excellent holiday cottage in a quiet location. Very well furnished, decorated and equipped. Comfy beds with quality bed linen and towels. Efficient heating and top of the range kitchen equipment. Lots of space, masses of hot water and a bonus of ice cubes in the freezer! Definitely one of the best.However, you really must change the directions to the cottage - it is VERY difficult to find.

Good sized cottage with a big garden. Well situated for exploring the Lakes. The property was clean and comfy. We have a black lab so obviously had to dine at The Black Labrador just up the road (great food, highly recommend)! During our stay there was a leak from the bath into the fuse box in the kitchen below, luckily it dried out but meant we could not shower or bathe for 5 days. We tried to contact cottages.com by various means with no success, and no owner number had been provided. We resorted to leaving a note on the dining table. Customer service was nonexistent out of hours and extremely sluggish otherwise, just not good enough.

A spacious house in a lovely, peaceful location and only 10 minutes from Kendal. The house had everything we needed, and our dog loved the enclosed, private garden.
