Excellent location for seeing the area and a quiet, peaceful spot to relax. Very comfortable, including the sofas and beds. Lovely views from the terrace. Cleaning was generally good but a few points worth note - Inside of the bathroom cupboard was dirty with a grubby recent electric toothbrush ring on the shelf, and lights were festively adorned with cobwebs. There was no welcome pack, a first for us in many years of self catering, and no specialist cleaning products left in respect of the toilet/septic tank, although we were left an empty bottle and clear instruction's ! There were no arrangements in place to change linen in the middle of the fortnight, and when we requested this they didn't turn up on the agreed day. They did apologise and show the next day though after another call.

Wonderful to have a balcony and also French doors out to the garden in the master bedroom.

The property is spacious and very well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. As someone else has also mentioned there is a slight damp smell in wardrobe in the main bedroom but that didnât worry us we didnât use it we used the wardrobe and drawers in the second bedroom. Plenty of birds in the garden to watch from the raised decking area, we took a nut feeder with us and hung on the fence by the gate in the garden it didnât take long for the birds to find it! Fell View was ideal for the 2 of us we had a very enjoyable week based there and exploring the Lake District. We would definitely stay again if returning to the area.
