Guests say

Elonby 1 offers a peaceful and scenic retreat, highly praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and stunning views. Guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere, well-equipped kitchen, and luxurious bathrooms, making it ideal for couples and those seeking relaxation. Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful. While some furnishings and maintenance could benefit from updating, and the Wi-Fi is limited, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Most guests found the lodge very clean and tidy, with only a few mentioning the need for a deeper clean in some areas such as the oven or behind fixtures. The majority of reviews highlight cleanliness as a strong point.

The location is consistently praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to nature, making it perfect for a quiet getaway. Guests enjoy the peaceful setting and the outlook over fields and forests.

While the lodge is described as cosy and spacious, several guests found the sofa and mattress uncomfortable or in need of replacement. However, the overall atmosphere and bathroom facilities contribute positively to comfort.

Facilities such as the kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor deck are well received, with extras like a washing machine and dishwasher appreciated. Some minor maintenance issues and dated furnishings were noted, but these did not significantly detract from most stays.

A few guests mentioned thoughtful touches such as a welcome doggy gift box, but as these are not guaranteed for all stays, this is reflected in the score. Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.
