It was spacious, comfortable, clean and very well equipped. We had a wonderful week celebrating a 70th birthday with our family. The garden was great for the two dogs and our granddaughter was able to ride her bike safely in the yard. The welcome pack was very thoughtful and very generous. We would love to come back.

The week was unseasonably cold and although the radiators were on they were on a timer. As the weather was very wet a lot of time was spent in the house which was cold during the day. Nothing was left to be able to light the fire. The towels were small and took ages to dry. No spares were available. However on a positive note the kitchen was very well equipped. We even found a Ninja in the cupboard!

Only a couple of issues we encountered. 1) The amount of webs and dust/dead flies and spiders around windows was very unpleasant. We didn't want to open windows as we were faced with all this dirt. 2) only one towel per guest which wasn't ideal when staying a full week 3) tumble dryer is useless. We had to dry clothes outside and they were still very damp due to on and off rain. 4) Garden furniture for the front garden would be ideal as we didn't want to sit outside on the gravel when we had such a lovely front garden to use 5) More supplies for dealing with the swarm of flies as they were everywhere.
