Lots of space and facilities. Our host was charming and helpful. The 'honesty' cake box on the lane a lovely treat for the children. Only reasons for change in score for comfort and accuracy of listing are (a) the heating seems to be on all the time so the house is particularly warm - useful in winter but not needed when warm outside. There is a smart TV in the listing which is somewhat misleading as there are only 2 channels to choose from so suggest an addition of a DVD player be added, or other families renting bringing their own firestick as the children were disappointed not to be able to watch their favourite TV programmes. However, small points in an otherwise fabulous stay.

Beautiful quiet valley with stunning walks. Two big family rooms and space downstairs for children to play in and plenty of bed space and a fabulous laundry downstairs with everything you need for wet days in the Lake District. Kitchen is brand new, and every need has been thought of. We loved the place. Highly recommend it.

The owners were so kind and thoughtful, the cottage itself had everything we could have wished for and more and the location was perfect. We had a great 3 night stay, making precious memories with our family and seeing some of the stunning scenery the area has to offer. Would highly recommend! Hope to visit again in the future.
