Sandfold Farm is a charming old farmhouse appreciated for its peaceful setting and proximity to Lake District attractions. Guests enjoy the comfortable beds and spacious kitchen, and the property is well-suited for both small and larger groups, including those with pets. You approach the property you can see its beautiful character as a converted Farmhouse, there is ample parking for 3 cars. As you walk to the entrance your eyes are drawn to the massive garden and stunning views over the hills beyond. The entrance porch is an ideal place to kick off the walking boots and coats after a long day, you enter the property into the spacious kitchen/dining area with its Wood burner and all the kitchen utilities you’d need to cook up a storm! leading off the kitchen and down a few steps is the utility room.

It’s our 3rd consecutive year staying at the Sandfold. We absolutely love it here. It’s so peaceful and we just love watching the wildlife from the gardens. It has everything you need inside the house. The only thing I would say is the garden seems to have been taken over with weeds which is a shame, but this wouldn’t stop us from staying here again. The cottage is just a 5 minute stroll to Fell foot at Windermere and is perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking. It’s an ideal place for any time of year.
