Overall I think it was great but a couple of improvements that could be made are blinds in the kitchen and more pans so that if anyone is cooking in the nest they are not having to bring their own cooking equipment

Stayed 2 nights owls nest . Lovely location fabulous views very quiet relaxing. Cottage open plan lovely layout and decor . kitchen clean and fully equipped. Bedding towels very clean. Pillows flat could do with replacing. Blinds in bedrooms dusty dead flies on window sills. Floor and stair carpet not very clean. Hand rail on stairs dirty. No blinds downstairs and no lamps. Enjoyed our stay did mention cleanliness issues at hotel reception and lovely receptionist took note and explained all cottages are being shut for a week at a time to deep clean them and undertake any maintenance required. I enjoyed my stay but did feel as advertised as a luxury cottage and the cost it should of been spotlessly clean.

What a lovely location and lovely cottage break. The views from the cottage were lovely, and what made it even better for us a family was the access straight to the park from the back of the cottage as well as an enclosed field for the dogs to run around in.There was also a lovely walk to get to lakeside which is both family and dog friendly.The cottage had everything we needed and staff were lovely. The only two things we think could do with improvements were the pillows (they become quite flat and uncomfortable) and the fact there weren’t blinds downstairs. Other than that we had a lovely stay here and would definitely recommend.
