Guests say

Guests consistently praise the cottage for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and well-equipped facilities, including a hot tub. The location is ideal for exploring Bowness and the Lake District. Comfort is highlighted with special mentions of cosy beds and ample space for large groups. Some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvements are noted, but overall experiences are very positive, with many guests planning to return.

Reviews frequently commend the property for its exceptional cleanliness, with numerous guests describing it as spotless and well-maintained. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The property's location is highly praised for being close to Bowness, Lake Windermere, and local attractions. Its tranquil setting is also appreciated, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

Comfort is a strong point, with guests finding the beds cosy and the rooms spacious. However, one review mentioned sofas that could be improved for those with back pain, slightly impacting the score.

Facilities are generally regarded as excellent, with a well-stocked kitchen and enjoyable hot tub. Some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for additional equipment slightly lower the score.

While guests mention thoughtful touches like homemade scones on arrival, there is not enough consistent information across reviews to score this category accurately. It should be noted that such personal touches, while appreciated, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The cottage like new and spotlessly clean. The hot tub was a welcome addition. We were given a late check out the following day, which was fantastic and allowed us not to rush. Thank you once again for a lovely stay- we will be back.

Very clean, perfect size and rooms for family of 12. Cannot fault anything. Definitely will return without any hesitation. Fantastic location, beautiful cottage, everything you could ask for and more.

A tasteful christmas tree and wreath on our arrival was a lovely touch. Plenty of dishwasher tablets, tea towels and logs for the burner were all included. A couple of plastic plates and bowls for children which was so ideal. Just brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It exceeded our expectations.
