We had a lovely stay at the cottage, which is ideally located within easy walking distance of the local shops, pubs and restaurants. The cottage itself was beautifully presented, with high-end décor, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.There were a couple of minor points worth mentioning. Parking is quite tight, as this particular cottage requires you to park directly in front of it rather than in one of the designated bays opposite, as the other cottages have. This was manageable during the time of year we visited, but I imagine it could become more challenging during the height of summer when the area is likely to be much busier. The cottage is also situated along a narrow road with a dead end, which can make access a little awkward.We also noticed that the light above the bed in the en-suite bedroom was not working. This was a little inconvenient for my mum, who likes to read at night, as she had to get out of bed to switch the main light off. She also noticed a couple of small stains and a hair on the bed sheet. Perhaps a quick final check of the cottage before guests arrive would help to pick up these minor issues. That said, none of these points detracted significantly from our stay.Overall, we had a wonderful break in a beautiful part of the Lake District and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage.

Overall very clean and kept to a good high standard. Parking is directly in front of the property and suitable for small to medium length cars. We had a Fiat 500x and that just fitted with space to menouver. Longer/wider vehicles will fit but will likely annoy neighbouring properties. As mentioned access to the top floor single beds is very height restricted. Doorway is about 4ft high maybe less. And the only downside was the loft room gets very hot in outside temperatures above 25 degrees. It has two loft windows which open and it did cool but a nice problem to have I guess as we had great weather. On the whole very worthy of 4 star accomodation and would go back. My wife even approves and would go back which is a first!

We enjoyed our stay here, its in a great location and has a parking space. There was just a few things like only 2 toilet rolls and not any spare bin bags which were needed. But it was clean and did the job for our weekend away.
