As you arrive in this idyllic countryside location you are immediately greeted by breathtaking views. The landscape is a tapestry of vibrant greens, and the meadows are home to horses grazing contentedly. Sit a while and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the countryside, allowing you a chance to calm your mind and forget the stresses of everyday life. This countryside haven offers not only stunning views but also a sense of peace and comfort, leaving you rejuvenated and grateful for the beauty of nature. Designed to be single level with a convenient ramp for easy wheelchair access. The single-level layout ensures the lodge is accessible and convenient for people of all ages and abilities. On stepping inside, you are instantly greeted by the inviting ambience boasting an open-plan design, creating a spacious and inviting atmosphere, perfect for socialising and enjoying the picturesque views. Windows and large sliding doors adorn the lodge, allowing plenty of natural light to flood the interior and connect guests with the beautiful outdoors and the glass enclosed veranda invites you outside to relax and enjoy. With stables and grazing available, and opportunities of good hacking, this is a great place to bring and stay with your horse (by prior arrangement and an extra cost with owner).
Old Buckenham has the largest village green in England, providing a good area to walk. The North Norfolk coast is an hour’s drive to explore many marvellous sandy beaches, the rspb nature reserves and marshes. Visit seaside towns of Sheringham, Cromer and Southwold offering traditional family attractions and glorious beaches. Several National Trust properties, excellent museums, birdwatching activities, golf, and fishing can be enjoyed reasonably locally. Closer still, there is Banham Zoo, Snetterton racetrack and Old Buckenham Airfield, all within a few miles. Supermarket and shops 3¾ miles. Two pubs 700 yards.

Lovely lodge in a nice village with a shop and two pubs within walking distance. Great views of countryside with horse paddock just outside. Just to warn visitors that there is no iron or hairdryer in the lodge for those requiring one.

We have stayed here 4 or 5 times. It’s so quiet and comfortable. Beautifully clean and well-equipped. Walking distance to Old Buckenham village pubs although in part along a road. Highly recommend
