The public footpath leading to the Winterton Dunes National Nature Reserve is just a short walk from the front door of Fallowfield, and the famous dunes are widely considered to be the best in Norfolk, the beach is also just a stone's throw away, offering a vast stretch of beautiful, golden sands, and much quieter than its neighbour further down the coast in Great Yarmouth. Wander the nature reserve behind the beach and if you're feeling energetic, enjoy a lovely circular walk through the dunes, back across the fields, and through woodland into the village.
